Scout Active Support - (SAS) - Coming Soon

What is Scout Fellowship?
Scout Fellowship is a body of adults who wish to actively support & promote Scouting but are unable to accept regular commitments of a warranted position & is open to anyone over the age of 18 - there is no upper age limit.

You don’t have to have been a Member of the Scout Movement to join us. What ever time you have to offer, be it only an hour occasionally, we will make use of it to the benefit of the young people. Present Members are welcome to join but it is understood that Group & Section commitments have first call on your time.

What does Scout Fellowship Do?
The Scout Fellowship will consider any requests for service, primarily from within
the Scout Movement but also from the community at large.

All service requests are judged on their merit and our availability, although we do
not seek to take on the responsible role of the permanent leader of an individual
group.

How is the Scout Fellowship Organised?
Like all other recognised Sections of the Movement the Fellowship has a National and County Organisation with its own Assistant County Commissioner (ACC). Within the Districts the Scout Fellowships are totally democratic units, with Members discussing requests for service & all other aspects, many with their own District Fellowships elect their organising committees at AGM's each year.
The members of Scout Fellowship also enjoy an active social programme, and there are opportunities for continuing your training through the Scout Network.

How is the Scout Fellowship Financed?
All Local Scout Fellowships are self financing, with annual subscriptions set by the Members. In common with all Members of the Scout Movement we pay Headquarters and Area/County District Subscriptions.
